Artificial Intelligience Integration Using Microsoft Azure
This project, undertaken as part of my academic curriculum including collaboration of 3 developers, involved in integration of various AI services provided by Microsoft Azure to create an innovative solution. The aim was to prototype a system that leverages the power of artificial intelligence to solve real-world problems. During this project, I gained hands-on experience with Azure's AI tools, such as Azure Cognitive Services and Azure Machine Learning, to build and deploy AI models.
My primary focus was on exploring the capabilities of these services, understanding their application in practical scenarios, and integrating them into a cohesive system. The prototyping phase involved rigorous testing and iteration to refine the AI models, ensuring their efficiency and effectiveness in processing data and making predictions.

Added filipino/auth.json translation on Kinde Software Authentication Application
The addition of another translation and validation process was an integral step, and i utilized the powerful npm script npm run validate to rigorously assess the correctness of the added Filipino translations. This approach guarantees linguistic integrity and contributes to a consistent and reliable user experience for individuals who prefer using the Filipino language.
This collaborative initiative reflects my commitment to inclusivity and accessibility, empowering a diverse audience to interact seamlessly with the authentication application. The addition of the Filipino translation in the authentication process is a testament to the collective effort of the development team, fostering a more welcoming and user-friendly digital environment for users with different linguistic backgrounds.
Magic Touch International Hair and Salon NZ with working Contact Form
In 2017, I discovered the extraordinary talent and flair of the Magic Touch team and was surprised to learn in 2023 that they were yet to have an online presence. Motivated by my appreciation for their artistry, I decided to extend my services for free to create a captivating website using React and incorporating dynamic animations with Framer Motion.
The result is a visually stunning online platform that reflects the essence of Magic Touch International Hair and Salon NZ. From showcasing their exceptional styling services to providing a virtual space for clients to connect, the website is more than just a digital presence – it's an immersive journey into the world of beauty and style.
To ensure seamless communication, a working contact form has been integrated, allowing clients to reach out effortlessly. This project is a testament to my commitment to supporting local businesses and celebrating the unique talent of Magic Touch.
AWS Textract in Healthcare Project
During my internship at the National Institute for Health Innovation(University of Auckland), I had the opportunity to work on a fascinating project involving AWS Textract. This project aimed to leverage the powerful text extraction and analysis capabilities of AWS Textract to improve data management and processing in the healthcare sector. While the specifics of the project are confidential and adhere to strict company policies, the experience allowed me to develop a deep understanding of how advanced cloud-based technologies can transform data handling in critical industries like healthcare. My role primarily involved exploring the functionalities of AWS Textract and integrating its features into our existing systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy. This experience was not only technically enriching but also provided valuable insights into the practical challenges and considerations in implementing AI technologies in sensitive and regulated environments.
Web Scraping in Healthcare Project
another key project during my internship at National Institute for Health Innovation, I focused on developing a sophisticated web scraping tool. The objective of this project was to efficiently gather and analyze data from various online sources, helping to inform decision-making processes and strategic initiatives. While the specific applications and data involved in this project are confidential in line with company policies, the project allowed me to dive deep into the technicalities of web scraping, data aggregation, and analysis. My role involved designing and implementing scripts to automate the collection of data, ensuring the accuracy and relevance of the information gathered. I also worked on refining the data processing techniques to effectively analyze and present the collected data in a meaningful way.
Metro NZ Property Management
In a collaborative effort with two developers and two designers, I contributed to the development of a comprehensive full-stack website for Metro NZ Property Management. This project was a remarkable blend of diverse skill sets and perspectives, leading to a highly functional and user-friendly web solution.
Our primary objective was to create a robust platform that effectively showcases Metro NZ's property management services while ensuring ease of navigation and interaction for users. My role involved working closely with the team on various aspects of website development, including back-end programming, front-end design, and database management. We employed the latest web technologies and frameworks to ensure a responsive and intuitive user experience.
A key feature of this project was the deployment of our website using Docker Hub, which streamlined the process and enhanced the website's scalability and accessibility. This experience not only honed my technical skills in full-stack development and deployment but also enriched my abilities to work effectively in a team setting. The project was a testament to the power of collaboration, with each team member bringing unique expertise to the table, resulting in a successful and professionally executed web solution.
Level-Up-Works
In the Level-Up-Works project, accessible through my GitHub repository, I played a pivotal role in developing afull-stack student dashboard. This initiative was a collaborative effort where I worked alongside a talented team of developers.
The primary goal of this project was to create an interactive and user-friendly dashboard that would enable students to access educational resources, track their progress, and engage with learning materials in a more organized and efficient manner. We utilized a variety of modern web development technologies and frameworks to ensure a seamless and responsive user experience.
My responsibilities in this project included front-end development using technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, React as well as back-end development with frameworks such as Node.js and Express.
Working on the Level-Up-Works project allowed me to deepen my understanding of full-stack development processes and sharpen my skills in collaborative software development. This experience was immensely valuable in demonstrating the power of teamwork in creating effective digital solutions for educational purposes.
Student Information System in C++
This project represents a significant milestone in my journey of exploring . The Student Information System was developed as a console application, crafted to manage and streamline the information handling for students.
The system features distinct modules for teachers, parents, and administrators, each designed to cater to the specific needs of these user groups. Teachers can access and manage student grades and attendance records, parents can view their child's academic progress and receive updates, and administrators have the oversight of the entire system.
Developing this project involved a deep dive into C++ programming, focusing on fundamental concepts such as object-oriented programming, data handling, and user interface design within a console environment. It was a valuable learning experience, enhancing my coding skills and giving me insights into the practical aspects of software development.
Text-To-Speech Project in C#
During a phase of exploring and expanding my programming capabilities, I developed a Text-To-Speech application in C#.
The application, built using Windows Forms, offers a straightforward and interactive user interface. Users can input text, which the application then converts into audible speech. This project was particularly challenging as it involved integrating Windows' speech synthesis features into a C# application, necessitating a deep understanding of both the language and the framework.
Creating this application was a significant learning experience. It enhanced my proficiency in C#, particularly in Windows Forms development, and gave me practical experience in implementing system libraries for specialized functions like speech synthesis. This project is a testament to my enthusiasm for tackling new technological challenges and my commitment to continual learning in the field of software development.
Air NZ Website Mock-up Design
In this project, I embraced the challenge of designing a mock-up for an Air New Zealand website. The design was inspired by the airline's "Where to Next" mantra, reflecting the spirit of adventure and exploration that is synonymous with air travel. My aim was to capture the essence of this theme and translate it into a visually appealing and user-friendly website design.
Utilizing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, I crafted a prototype that not only looks aesthetically pleasing but also provides a seamless user experience. The design focuses on simplicity and functionality, with easy navigation and interactive elements that engage users. The use of vibrant imagery, combined with a clean layout, mirrors the excitement and possibilities of travel.
This project was an excellent opportunity to refine my skills in web design and front-end development. It allowed me to experiment with different design concepts and coding techniques, pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved through creative thinking.
